Sheldon later turned to writing novels, and his first book, “The Naked Face,” was published in 1970. He went on to write over 20 more novels, including “The Other Side of Midnight,” “If Tomorrow Comes,” and “The Sands of Time.” His books often featured strong female protagonists and intricate plots that kept readers on the edge of their seats.
Sheldon’s books have been translated into over 50 languages and have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide. Several of his novels have been adapted into films and television series, including “The Other Side of Midnight” and “Rage of Angels.” In addition to his success as an author, Sheldon was also a philanthropist, supporting causes such as children’s hospitals and medical research.
