Description
Phantom Comics is a long-running comic strip featuring the masked crime-fighter known as “The Phantom,” created by Lee Falk in 1936. The Phantom is often regarded as the first superhero to wear a skin-tight costume and a mask with no visible pupils, setting the template for many superheroes that followed. Unlike most superheroes, the Phantom does not possess any superhuman abilities but relies on his intelligence, strength, and an indomitable will to fight evil. He is the 21st member of a lineage of crime-fighters who have taken on the identity of the Phantom, passing the mantle from father to son for centuries, giving rise to the legend of the “Ghost Who Walks.”
